The Quirinale is one of the seven hills on which Rome is built but this term also means the seat of the Presidency of the Republic.
We describe it in the words of Sergio Mattarella: & #8220; Il Quirinale is one of the main places where the life of the Italian Republic takes place. The visit of the Palace, with daily opening and public access to new environments, leads to the discovery of an invaluable heritage of art, history and culture, an expression of the industriousness, creativity and genius of the Italians; at the same time it allows to know the seat where the President of the Republic performs his functions, meets the high institutional offices, the representatives of other States and international bodies, the representatives of civil society, the citizens. The Quirinale is a lively and vital Palace for our democracy, protagonist today as yesterday in the history of the country, and as such it fully constitutes the House of the Italians & #8221 ;.
